Andthough I have the gift of prophecy,andunderstandallmysteries,andallknowledge;andthough I haveallfaith,so that I could removemountains,andhavenotcharity, I amnothing.

Andthough I bestowallmygoods to feed the poor, andthough I givemybodyto be burned, andhavenotcharity, it profiteth menothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charityenviethnot;charityvaunteth[a]notitself, isnot puffed up,

Rejoicethnotininiquity,butrejoiceth in the truth;[b]

Beareth all things,believeth all things,hopeth all things,endureth all things.

Charityneverfaileth: butwhether there be prophecies, they shall fail;[c]whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
