Job 41:11

Who hath prevented me, that one should repay [him]?
&c.] First given me something that was not my own, and so laid me under an obligation to him to make a return. The apostle seems to have respect to this passage, ( Romans 11:35 ) ;

[whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine;
the fowls of the air, the cattle on a thousand hills, the fulness of the earth; gold, silver: precious stones All things are made by him, are his property and at his dispose; and therefore no man on earth can give him what he has not a prior right unto; see ( Psalms 24:1 ) ( 50:10-12 ) .

9 Any hope of capturing it will be disappointed; were not even the gods overwhelmed at the sight of it?
10 No one is so fierce as to dare to stir it up. Who can stand before it?
11 Who can confront it and be safe? —under the whole heaven, who?
12 "I will not keep silence concerning its limbs, or its mighty strength, or its splendid frame.
13 Who can strip off its outer garment? Who can penetrate its double coat of mail?
