Mark 6:44

And they that did eat of the loaves
And also of the fishes; for they all ate of both;

were about five thousand men;
the word (wsei) , "about", is omitted in the Vulgate Latin, Syriac, Arabic, Persic and Ethiopic versions, reading five thousand men certain. The Evangelist Matthew adds, "beside children and women", ( Matthew 14:21 ) .

45 Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.
46 After saying farewell to them, he went up on the mountain to pray.
