Numbers 10:3

3 When both are blown, the whole congregation shall assemble before you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Numbers 10:3 Meaning and Commentary

Numbers 10:3

And when they shall blow with them
With both the trumpets, in an even and continued sound, that is, the sons of Aaron:

all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation;
to hear what was to be said unto them: blowing both the trumpets together was a token that the whole congregation was called to meet together at the tabernacle, the door of which was the usual place of assembling, especially on religious counts, for there also the Lord met them, ( Exodus 29:42 Exodus 29:43 ) .

Numbers 10:3 In-Context

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 Make two silver trumpets; you shall make them of hammered work; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation, and for breaking camp.
3 When both are blown, the whole congregation shall assemble before you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
4 But if only one is blown, then the leaders, the heads of the tribes of Israel, shall assemble before you.
5 When you blow an alarm, the camps on the east side shall set out;
