James 5:7-11

Exhortation

7 Therefore be patient, 1brethren, 2until the coming of the Lord. 3The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets 4the early and late rains.
8 5You too be patient; 6strengthen your hearts, for 7the coming of the Lord is 8near.
9 9Do not complain, 10brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, 11the Judge is standing 12right at the door.
10 As an example, 13brethren, of suffering and patience, take 14the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
11 We count those 15blessed who endured. You have heard of 16the endurance of Job and have seen 17the outcome of the Lord's dealings, that 18the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.
